This chamber summons is taken out for amendment of the plaint by correcting the prayer clause. Prayer clause seeks to recover only the principal amount, whereas the particulars of claim, which are annexed to the plaint, seek to recover interest on the principal amount as well. Prayer clause is sought to be amended by incorporating the claim for interest. The chamber summons is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). Amendment to be carried out within two weeks. (S.C.
