IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY
ORDINARY ORIGINAL CIVIL JURISDICTION WRIT PETITION 1089 of 2014 Karmachari Sangha MHADA .. Petitioner vs MHADA & ors .. Respondents Mr.Shantanu Chandratre I.b Khandeparkar Associates for Petitioner Ms.Neha Bhide for Respondent no.1 Mrs.Madhubala Kajle AGP for Respondent no.2 CORAM : ANOOP V. MOHTA & G.S.KULKARNI , JJ.
28 JUNE 2016.
ORDER :
Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly states that prayers as made in prayer clause (a) of the petition has become infructuous. He points out that prayer clauses (b) and (c) challenge the recruitment rules in question. We are of the opinion that as the principal challenge namely prayer clause (a) itself having become infructuous the occasion to consider prayer clauses (b) and (c) in this writ petition would not arise as the same would be purely academic. In the circumstances, keeping all questions open in regard to the challenge to the rules, we dispose of the petition. Writ petition is accordingly disposed of with no order as to costs.
