Heard learned counsel for the applicant.

In the present petition for grant of succession certificate, the original petitioner died on 11.08.2020. By way of the present application, the applicant seeks amendment of the petition as per Schedule annexed to the application. The three legal representatives of the deceased petitioner are sought to be brought on record. Copy of the death certificate is annexed at exhibit-A.

Although there is considerable delay in moving the present application for amendment, considering the fact that the original petitioner died during the Covid-19 pandemic period, this Court is inclined to allow the present application.

In view of the above, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clauses (a) and (b). The amendment be carried out within two weeks from today.
