The Petitioner seeks a Legal Heirship Certificate under Section 2 of Bombay Regulation VIII of 1827 in respect of one Ramdeo Ram Jageswar Jaiswal, who is said to have died intestate in Uttar Pradesh on 18th January 2001. A copy of his death certificate is annexed.

During his lifetime, he was permanent resident at Room Nos. 16 and 17, Building No. 41, "A" Ward, Mint Road, Fort, Mumbai 400 001.

The deceased was survived by his widow, one son and three children of a predeceased son Shivmurti. Their names are mentioned in the tabulation in the petition. The Petitioner is the son of the predeceased son. The others have consented. 5.
The deceased was tenant of Room Nos. 16 and 17, Building No. 41, "A" Ward, Mint Road, Fort, Mumbai 400 001. The Legal Heirship Certificate is required for production before the MHADA authorities.

No other Petition for an heirship certificate, succession certificate, probate or letters of administration with or without Will annexed has been filed. There is no impediment to the grant of relief.

The petition is made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a). 8.
