By the present Chamber Summons, the Applicant seeks to amend the name of the claimant company, which has changed from Philips Lighting India Limited to Signify Innovations India Limited. Mugdha

Learned Counsel for the Applicant invites my attention to the copy of the Certificate of Incorporation issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, which records this change in name. She also seeks an amendment to Column 'J' of the Execution Application.

I have heard Learned Counsel for the Applicant and perused the papers. As the amendment being formal in nature, the same deserves to be granted. Thus, Chamber Summons is accordingly allowed in terms of prayer clauses (b) & (c), which read thus :- "(b) that the Applicant/Claimant abovenamed be allowed to amend the Execution Application, No. 1276 of 2018 as set forth in "Schedule-I AND II" annexed hereto and to make such other consequential amendments as may be deemed necessary, in the facts and circumstances of the case, to all cause title and the pleadings; (c) consequential amendments, if any;"

Amendments to be carried out within a period of two weeks from today.

Chamber Summons is accordingly thus disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
