This writ petition challenges a notice of attachment dated 8th July, 2015. After it was called out, the petitioner's advocate has placed before us a communication from the Sales Tax Officer addressed to the Talathi (Kurla), informing that the notice of attachment issued on 8th July, 2015 is withdrawn by the Sales Tax Department. Therefore, he need not proceed to recover the Sales Tax dues as arrears of land revenue. We take a copy of this letter on record and mark it as 'X' for identification.
