Mr.Desai, the learned Counsel for the petitioner, states that the petitioner has filed an appeal before the Grievance Committee seeking condonation of break in the petitioner's service from 1.5.2008 to 22.12.2009. It is stated that though the appeal is filed on 2.4.2013, the same is not decided as yet. It is stated that a direction be issued to the Grievance Committee to decide the appeal within the time frame. Since the prayer made by the petitioner is innocuous, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.5 Grievance Committee to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner as early as possible and within a period of 8 months, in accordance with law. 1 / 2
