The counsel for the defendant states that the matter was highly contested when the summons for judgement was heard and therefore, is insisting on cost to be awarded. The plaintiffs to pay a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- as cost to the defendant. Out of the amount of Court fees refundable, the department to pay a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- to the defendant by way of cheque, drawn in favour of the defendant/advocate for the defendant and the balance amount to be paid over to the plaintiffs/advocate for the plaintiffs.
