Mr. S.P. Chavan, the learned counsel for the petitioner holding for Mr. P. J. Thorat, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that though the counsel has tried on several occasions to contact the petitioner telephonically and has also communicated with him, the petitioner has not responded. It is stated that in the absence of any instructions, the counsel would not be in a position to work out the writ petition.
