The Writ Petitioners question the promotion granted to the 2nd Respondent to the post of Professor of Micro-Biology. Order dated 30.11.2010 records that the 2nd Respondent retired as Professor and after the Petition was filed Petitioner No.1 was promoted as Associate Professor and Petitioner No.2 as Professor.
