Learned counsel Mr.Narayan Sahu for the Petitioner states that Respondent has been served. Eighteen months period expired on 1st March 2018. The final arguments and hearing in the matter are concluded on 24th February 2018. Only an award has to be now rendered by the learned Arbitrator. Time to make an award is extended.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner fairly invited my attention to an application dated 5th March 2018, filed by the Respondent before the learned Arbitrator, objecting to the grant of extension of time on the ground that the claims of the Petitioner are barred by time. Though the present proceedings are served upon the Respondent in advance, none appeared for the
Priya Soparkar 913 arbp 401-18-o Respondent in the matter. No affidavit in reply is filed. Petitioner has thus made out the case for grant of extension of time of four months, with effect from 1st March 2018. It is ordered accordingly. Arbitration Petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. The Petitioner is directed to convey this order to the learned Arbitrator.

Parties as well as learned Arbitrator to act on the authenticated copy of this order.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that the Respondent has been also informed by e-mail that this matter would appear before this court today for hearing and final disposal. The copy of such e-mail is taken on record.
