We are informed that there is substantial compliance of the consent terms filed by both the parties in the Supreme Court. Respondents have regularised services of 49 employees. However, it is submitted that they have not been properly fitted in the proper grade and arrears of salary from 1.3.2011 also have not been given. Lastly, it is submitted that other benefits, such as medical benefits, leave benefits, etc. were also not given to the employees. This, however, is denied by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondents. In our view, since there is substantial compliance of the consent terms, 1 / 2

CONPW. 44-14 filed in the Supreme Court, it would be appropriate if the Petitioners make a representation to the Respondent MTNL regarding alleged non-compliance of the consent terms. Upon such a representation being filed, the Respondent - MTNL shall consider the same and take a decision in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, and in any case within 12 weeks from today.
