After getting instructions from Respondent No.2 - Regional Passport Office, Mumbai, Learned Counsel for Respondent No.2 submits that in case the Petitioner deposits the fine amount of Rs.5000/-, Respondent No.2 shall forthwith reissue Petitioner's passport as per the order dated 15.2.2017 passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Mumbai. The statement is accepted. In view of the aforesaid statement, we dispose of this Petition directing Respondent No.2 to do the needful as has been ordered, on Petitioner's making payment as aforesaid. We keep all the contentions raised in this Petition open.
