1. The proposed adoptive parents intend to adopt minor female child born on 16th September, 2019. The child has been declared free for adoption by the Child Welfare Committee on 11th December, 2019. The child is placed in safe custody of Asha Sadan. The Maharashtra State Women Council Adoption Rule held a virtual meeting on 26th June, 2020 in view of the 1/2 2..iap-27-20 wadhwa

lock down. The relevant documents had been submitted by the prospective adoptive parents by email. The minutes are certified as true copy by the Social Worker medical reports. The motivation letter is at Exhibit C.

2. Medical reports of the prospective adoptive parents, Home Study report dated 9th December, 2017, Child Study report dated 21st February, 2020, Joint declaration of willingness to adopt as also documents showing financial status are attached. The proposed adoptive mother has undertaken that for 24 months she will not attend her place of employment. In any case, the prospective adoptive mother is also helping in the jewelery business of the prospective adoptive father.

3. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and having perused the annexures, I am of the view that the petition is liable to be allowed. In view thereof, Judge's order is signed separately.
