After the matter was heard at some length, by consent of parties, the petition is disposed of in terms of the following order:- (i) The interim order passed by the Industrial Tribunal on 6 January 2016, which is impugned in the present petition, is set aside. The Petitioner Company shall pay an adhoc temporary increase in salary in the lump sump amount of Rs.2000/- per month each to the employees represented by the Respondent Union. Such payment shall be without prejudice to the rights and contentions of both the parties. (ii) The Industrial Tribunal shall hear and dispose of the reference as expeditiously as possible and within a period of six months from today.

wp950-16.doc (iii) The reference shall be decided without in any way being influenced by the present order.

(iv) All rights and contentions of the parties on merits are kept open, to be decided by the Tribunal at the hearing of the reference. ( S.C. GUPTE, J. ) Pg 2 of 2
