The Indian Adoption Petition proposes the adoption of a female minor, Kaveri, who was born on 5th June 2017. She was found abandoned by the Kurla Police Station on 6th July 2017. She was produced before the Child Welfare Committee and then placed in the custody of the Petitioner institution. She has since been declared legally free for adoption.

The adoptive mother is unmarried. She lives in Bangalore. She is 38 years old. She has no children of her own. This is, therefore, a single parent Adoption Petition. 18th April 2018

The Petition and its accompaniments are in order. The proposed adoptive mother is the Vice President of a Financial Advisory based in Bangalore with a gross monthly salary over Rs.3,20,000/-. Her financial documents are on record. 4.

The other documents including the home study report, the child care arrangement plan are also on record and in order. In the medical examination report a slight cardiac condition. This report has been accepted by the mother and she has countersigned it. The HIV report of the minor is tendered. It is non-reactive. It is taken on file and marked "X" for identification with today's date. 5.

I have seen the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare which is on record.

The Petition is allowed. The Judge's Order is separately signed.
