...Respondent

Mr.Aditya Pimple with Tuba Taiseen I/b. Associates for Petitioner. Mr.Akshay Kolse Patil I/b. A. Mehta Laljee & Co. for Respondent. CORAM : S.C. GUPTE, J.

12 JULY 2017 P.C. :

This application is under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for extension of time for the arbitrator to conclude the reference and make his award.

There are insolvency proceedings against the Petitioner company and a professional has already been appointed under the Bankruptcy Code. Any further prosecution of the arbitration reference will have to be made by the professional appointed and not the board. Subject to that right, the time granted to the arbitral tribunal for concluding the reference and making an award is extended by six months from today. The arbitration petition is disposed of.
