1] The learned AGP for the State on instructions states that police protection would be provided to the Respondent No.1-Corporation for effecting demolition of the offending structure which is required to be demolished. Statement made by the learned AGP is accepted. 1/2
(902)CONPW-42-2022.doc 2] The learned AGP is directed to provide police protection to the Municipal Corporation on 12th July, 2022. In view of the statement made by the learned AGP for the State, the learned counsel for Municipal Corporation on instructions from Mr.Sunil Bharambe, Assistant Engineer (B&F) A Ward and Mr.Sagar Nandagawali, Junior Engineer (B&F) A Ward undertakes to carry out demolition of the offending structure on 12th July,2022.
3] Contempt Petition is disposed of in abovesaid terms . 4] Place the matter for reporting compliance on 18th July, 2022. 5] If police protection is not provided or after providing the police protection if the demolition is not carrying out, this Court will take serious view in the matter and would take appropriate steps against the concerned officers for not complying with the statement made before this Court.
