By this petition, Petitioners are seeking an appropriate writ, order and direction, directing the Respondent No. 1 to decide the appeal filed by the Petitioner before him on 1.4.2015 under the provisions of the MRTP Act, 1966, expeditiously. 2.

This being the only relief claimed by the Petitioners, petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing Respondent No. 1 to hear and decide the appeal on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks. In the meantime i.e. till the issue of regularisation of the suit 1 / 2

WPL. 1008-15 structure is decided in the appeal, no coercive steps shall be taken of demolishing the said structure. Writ petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
