The minor's name is Sakhi. She was born on 15th May 2014. The mother died due to tuberculosis shortly after delivery. She had no other family members. The minor is also TB positive. This has been noted and accepted by the adoptive parents by countersigning the necessary reports. They have undertaken to provide necessary treatment and care to the child.

The adoptive parents are from Italy. I have seen the Petition carefully with all its annexures as also the scrutiny report from Mr. Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the ICSW. That report is taken on file and marked "X" for identification.
