The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Shephali Mormare Conciliation Act 1996. A three-member arbitral tribunal was by Shephali Mormare Date: 2020.11.07 15:52:25 +0530 constituted by the letter of reference dated 18th June 2018. The arbitral tribunal entered upon the reference to the arbitration shortly thereafter and the matter proceeded before it. 2nd November 2020

The original arbitral mandate of twelve months expired on 17th June 2019. It was extended for six months by mutual consent of the parties. The extended arbitral mandate ended on 17th December 2019. By an order of 11th March 2020 made on Arbitration Petition (L) 355 of 2020, the Court extended the until 17th September 2020. 4.
The arbitral proceedings have reached an advanced stage. The evidence of the petitioner has been closed and recorded. 5.
Having regard to these circumstances, and more particularly in view of the current pandemic and various restrictions, I am extending the arbitral mandate until 30th September 2021 to complete the arbitral proceedings.

The petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs. 7.
