The Foreign Adoption Petition proposes the adoption of a female minor, Lilavati, who was born on 29th November 2016, relinquished to the Child Welfare Committee on 5th December 2016, and then placed in the custody of the Petitioner institution. She has been declared legally free for adoption. 2.

The proposed adoptive parents are Americans settled in Florida.

I have seen the Petition with its annexures. The documents annexed to the Petition are in order, including the home study report, the child care arrangement plan, health reports, financial documents and the reports by the social workers. 4.

The medical report of the minor made on 4th May 2017 notes nutritional anemia and some issue regarding her hearing. There is also a slight underdevelopment in relation to her age. The proposed adopters have countersigned the physical examination report. An updated report from the Hinduja Hospital is tendered. It is taken dated 19th September 2017. It notes that hearing issue is gradually improving but recommends further tests and states that the issue can be addressed. The report is taken on record and marked "X" for identification with today's date.

I have seen the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare which is on record.

Having regard to these circumstance, I will allow the Petition. The Judge's Order is separately signed.
