The Indian Adoption Petition proposes the adoption of a male minor, Mahir, who was born on 12th January 2017. He was found abandoned by the DN Nagar Police Station on that very date, admitted to Cooper Hospital, produced before the Child Welfare Committee and then given in custody of the Petitioner institution. The child has been declared legally free for adoption. 2.

The proposed adoptive parents are from Sangareddy, Telangana. They are 40 and 34 years old respectively. They have been married for 18 years but have no children of their own. 18th April 2018

The documents annexed to the Petition are in order, including the home study report, the child care arrangement plan, health reports, financial documents and the reports by the social workers. The HIV report of the minor is also non-reactive. The adoptive father works as an Associate with KL Technical Services, Secunderabad having gross monthly salary over Rs.20,000/-. The adoptive mother is a housewife.

I have seen the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare which is on record.

Having regard to the financial situation of the adoptive parents, the investment requirement is fixed at Rs.50,000/-. 6.

The Petition is allowed. The Judge's Order is separately signed.
