The Indian Adoption Petition proposes the adoption of a female minor, Astha, who was born on 2nd January 2016. She was found abandoned by the Virar Police Station, admitted to Gramin Hospital Virar and later produced before the Child Welfare Committee and then placed in the custody of the Petitioner institution. She has been declared legally free for adoption. 2.

The proposed adoptive parents are from Belgaum. They are 50 and 48 years old respectively. They have been married for 13 years. They have no children of their own.

The adoptive father is a self-employed as an Insurance Consultant with an annual income of over Rs. 7,00,000/-. The adoptive mother is a housewife.

The documents annexed to the Petition are in order, including the home study report, the child care arrangement plan, health reports, financial documents and the reports by the social workers.

I have seen the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare which is on record.

The Petition is allowed. The Judge's Order is separately signed.
