The learned counsel appearing for the Petitioners tenders additional affidavit of the second Petitioner who is the Secretary General of the first Petitioner. In view of what is stated in the affidavit which is taken on record and marked 'A-1' for identification, he seeks permission to withdraw the Writ Petition. The learned counsel appearing for the Union of India states that he may be granted time to file a reply dealing with the contents of the affidavit. The Petitioners want to withdraw the Petition in view of the statements made in the affidavit. We are not adjudicating upon the correctness or otherwise of

wp-1633.16 the statements made in the affidavit. Therefore, it is not necessary to grant time to the Respondents. The learned counsel appearing for the Petitioners has also placed on record a copy of the order dated 14 th September, 2016 passed by the Government of India.
