This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (for short, "the Act") whereby the petitioner has prayed for extension of time for the arbitral tribunal to conclude the arbitral proceedings and publish an award. Learned Counsel for the respondent has no objection for the prayers as made in the petition. It is stated that cross examination of witness of the respondent is in progress. 3.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, it is in the interest of justice that the mandate of the arbitral tribunal be extended for a period of two months from today. Ordered accordingly. Pg 1 of 2

The Arbitral Tribunal shall make an endeavour to complete the arbitral proceedings and publish an award within the extended period. 5.
