This writ petition challenges an order passed by the Labour Court at Mumbai on a reference made to it under the Industrial Disputes Act. The controversy concerns the present Petitioner's employment with the Respondent establishment. The impugned award of the Labour Court denies any relief of wages to the Petitioner herein, but gives liberty to him to report for duties pursuant to the requisitions of Respondent No.1, the frst party company before the Labour Court.

Learned Counsel for the parties confrm that the Petitioner has resumed duties. Photocopies of the communications between the parties in this behalf are placed on record. The same are kept on record, marked "X" for identifcation. Nothing practically survives in the present petition, since the Petitioner has now resumed duties.
