Mr. Sawant, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that though this court by an order dated 14th March,2018 in Writ Petition (L) No.763 of 2018 and other companion matters directed the Assistant Commissioner (M/E Ward) to consider the case of the petitioner for rehabilitation in terms of the policy guidelines dated 24th February, 2004 and to pass speaking order, the Assistant Commissioner has directed the Assistant Engineer to take appropriate action. Mr.Sirsikar, learned counsel appearing for the Municipal Corporation states that the Assistant Commissioner, (M/E Ward) will pass appropriate order after considering the case of the petitioner for rehabilitation in terms of the policy guidelines dated 24th February,2004 within four weeks from today.

The petitioner is directed to appear before the Assistant Commissioner, (M/E Ward) on 4th July, 2019 at 11.00 a.m. without fail. The petitioner agrees not to seek any adjournment before the Assistant Commissioner.

The learned Assistant Commissioner shall pass speaking order after hearing the petitioner in person or through his advocate. 4.

Writ petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. No order as to costs.
