The petitioner is the father of the minor child Alexia D'Mello. The petitioner's brother is the father of the minor child Allen D'Mello. The sister of the petitioner has expired. She had a Genworth Life Insurance Policy. The minor children are shown as beneficiaries in the policy. They are entitled to an equal share in the proceeds of the policy. The petitioner has produced the birth certificate of the minor children and the death certificate of their aunt. The petitioner has also produced the consent of other family members. The brother of the petitioner has given its consent to the petitioner to represent his minor child also. The petition is in the interest of the minor children. The proceeds of the above policy are to give to the minor children.

Hence Genworth Life Insurance Company shall deposit the entire proceeds payable in respect of the policy taken by the aunt of the minor children Juliana D'Mello with the accounts officer of this Court. The accounts officer shall deposit the entire amount in FDR of any nationalised bank until the children attain majority.
