CORAM:

S. V. GANGAPURWALA, Act.CJ.& SANDEEP V. MARNE, J.

DATE:

MARCH 6, 2023 P.C.:

1.

The learned advocate for the respondents raises a preliminary objection that the petitioner has alternate remedy before the Central Administrative Tribunal (for short "the Tribunal"). In light of that though the learned advocate for the petitioners sought to canvas submissions on merits, we are not inclined to consider the same.

2.

The writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to avail alternate remedy. In that event, all contentions are left open. The petitioners may make a request to the Tribunal for expeditious disposal of the original application, which request, the Tribunal may consider on its own merits. 3.

No costs.

(SANDEEP V. MARNE, J.) (ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE)
