The Petition is decidedly ambitious. Prayer clause (b) of the Petition at page 11 reads thus:

"(b) That this Hon'ble Court be pleased to issued writ, mandamus an order or direct, direction in favour of the Petitioner and that the Hon'ble Court be pleased to give direction or an order to the Respondents to concerned the Petitioner for redevelopment or development property under the slum rehabilitation scheme in being Survey No. 21, 17, 17, 17, 143, 143 admeasuring area of 14385 sq. Yards i.e. New Survey No. is 94, 94-1, admeasuring slum area of 3775.9 Sq. Meter situated at Maghathana Borivali (East), Mumbai on 31.1.1981 of the Petitioner."

In short, the Petitioner seeks a mandamus directing the Slum Rehabilitation Authority to redevelop certain property that apparently belongs to the Petitioner.
