DATE : 7 SEPTEMBER 2023 P.C. :- This Petition is filed by two Law students now Advocates against the Respondent - College, Fees Regulating Authority, State of Maharashtra and University of Mumbai in respect of fees to be paid by them to the Respondent - College. They have sought the reliefs as specified in prayer clauses. They also make a grievance that
the Respondent - Authority has not passed any orders in respect of the complaints filed by them.

During the pendency of the Petition, the Petitioners and the Respondent - College have entered into an amicable settlement as regard the refund of fees. The Petition came up on board on 29 August 2023 when the learned Counsel for the Respondent - College and the Petitioners-in-person had mentioned regarding their amicable settlement. We had directed the Registry to examine whether the consent terms are in order as regard compliances, which report has been placed on record.

By order dated 4 September 2023, the following order was passed :- "The Petitioners and Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 have entered into consent terms. Pursuant to the order dated 29 August 2023 the Registry has examined consent terms compliances as to whether they are in order and in respect of Vakalatnama and identity of the parties and has placed the report on record. Respondent No. 3 Fees Regulating Authority, Respondent No. 4 State of Maharashtra and Respondent No. 5 University of Mumbai are the party Respondents.
List the petition on board on 7 September 2023 under the caption "For Settlement / Consent Terms". The learned Counsel for the Petitioners will give notice to the aforesaid Respondents by furnishing the
copy of the consent terms they intend to enter into. If no response is received from these Respondents by the next date, the Court will proceed on the assumption that these Respondents have no objection for disposal of this petition in light of the consent terms." The learned Counsel for the Respondent - College and the Petitioners-in-person states that they have given notice to the University, State Government and the Authority. The Counsel representing the Respondents are present. They state that they have no objection as regard these consent terms arrived at between the Petitioners and the Respondent Nos. 1 and 2.

In the light thereof, the consent terms are taken on record and marked 'X'.

Writ Petition is disposed of in terms of the consent terms. All undertaking are accepted.
