On 4th January 2018, petitioner was directed to advertise the settlement of their claim and consequent withdrawal of the petition in two newspapers. This was because Ms. Lalwani appearing for petitioner had stated that the petition post-admission was advertised. Ms. Lalwani states today that due to oversight she made that statement and in fact the petition was never advertised. In the circumstances, withdrawal of the petition need not be advertised.
