The learned counsel appearing for the Respondent, on instructions of Mr. R. K. Shridhankar, Assistant Superintendent of Market (I/C), states that the application (Exhibit "A" to the petition) made by the Petitioner shall be decided by an appropriate authority of the first Respondent within a period of four weeks from today. We accept the said statement and pass the following order: (i) If the concerned officer of the Respondent - Municipal 1 / 2

WP. 1964-16.doc Corporation wants any documents in support of application (Exhibit "A" to the petition), a written intimation thereof shall be served on the Petitioner calling upon the Petitioner to submit the documents within a period of two weeks from the date on which intimation is served. Such an intimation, if any, shall be issued within a period of one week from today; (ii) We direct the concerned Officer of the Respondent Municipal Corporation to decide the Application (Exhibit "A" to the petition) within a period of eight weeks from today. All contentions which are raised in the petition by the Petitioner, are kept open.

(iii) All concerned to act on an authenticated copy of this order. (iv) Writ petition is disposed of accordingly in the aforesaid terms.
