2) That is a communication from the City Survey Officer, Chembur, Mumbai. That communication refers to the Petitioner's application dated 15th July, 2013.
3) If the Petitioner is aggrieved by this communication and the inaction alleged, namely, of not entering the Petitioner's name in the property card, then, we have no doubt that all superior authorities J.V.Salunke,PA
WP.2518.2014.903.doc under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 possess enough powers and they can direct the concerned officials subordinate to them to take action as is permissible in law.
4) In the event the Petitioner approaches the Collector, Mumbai Suburban District with an appropriate application and within a period of four weeks from today, which is assured by Mr. Joshi appearing for the Petitioner, then, the Collector shall take a decision thereon as expeditiously as possible and within a period of two months from the date of its receipt. All contentions of the Petitioner and as raised in the Writ Petition are kept open. The Writ Petition is disposed of.
