Accepted. The Petitioner is the son of the deceased. The only other heir is his married daughter. She has consented. Hence, issuance of proclamation is dispensed with. The Petition is made returnable forthwith and taken up for hearing and final disposal. 2.

The Petitioner seeks a Legal Heirship Certificate under Section 2 of Bombay Regulation VIII of 1827 in respect of one Om Prakash Sonik, who is said to have died intestate in Mumbai on 7th July 2016. He was ordinarily resident at 202 Silver Mist. Off Yari Road, Versova, Andheri West, Mumbai 400 061. A copy of his death certificate is annexed. The wife of the deceased died before him on 10th April 2004. Her death certificate is annexed. The only other 23rd January 2018

28-MPT154-17.DOC heir has consented. The names of the heirs are mentioned in the tabulation below paragraph 5 of the petition. 3.

The Legal Heirship Certificate is required for production before various Insurance Companies and other rights set out in paragraphs 9 and 10.

No other Petition for a heirship certificate, succession certificate, probate or letters of administration with or without will annexed has been filed. There is no impediment to the grant of relief.

The petition is made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a) in favour of the persons mentioned in the table below paragraph 5, namely, Som Om Prakash Sonik and Mrs Sudha Chadha. 6.
