The Plaintiff is the wife. She has filed the suit for divorce under Section 32(g) of the Parsi Marriage and Divorce Act, 1936. The Plaintiff claims that the Defendant has deserted her and that even he is now not traceable.

By two orders dated 27th April 2015 and 5th May 2015 I permitted service of the writ of summons by publication, i.e., substituted service. An affidavit of Ms. Almeida, learned Advocate of this Court, proving service by publication in Free Press Journal and Janmabhoomi is taken on record.

The Plaintiff is personally present in Court. She has filed an evidence affidavit dated 5th June 2015. She deposes to the correctness of the contents of the averments in her plaint. 4.

None appears for the Defendant. He is also absent himself, although his name is correctly shown on the board. 5.

The Suit is decreed in terms of prayer clause (a). There will be no order as to costs.
