The Indian Adopotion Petition proposes the adoption of a female minor, Dhanvi, who was born on 21st September 2017. She was admitted to the Petitioner institution three days later. The biological mother executed a Deed of Surrender on 16th October 2017. The minor has been declared free for adoption. The proposed adoptive parents reside in Bhusawal, District Jalgaon. They are 46 and 41 years old. They have been married for 19 years but have no children of their own. 902-IAP38-18.DOC 2.

The documents annexed to the Petition are in order, including the home study report, the child care arrangement plan, financial documents and the reports by the social workers. The health report of the minor suggests of moderate conductive hearing loss and an earlier hernia that has been attended to. The adoptive parents have countersigned this report.

3.

I have seen the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare which is on record.

4.

Having regard to the father's financial status, I have fixed the investment required at Rs.50,000/-.

5.

Having regard to these circumstances and since I am satisfied that the adoption is manifestly in the interest of minor, I will allow the Petition. The Judge's Order is separately signed. (G. S. PATEL, J) 25th April 2018
