The Indian Adoption Petition proposes the adoption of a female minor, Amaira, who was born on 14th October 2017. Her biological mother relinquished her to the Child Welfare Committee on 2nd November 2017 and the minor was then placed in the custody of the Petitioner institution. She has been declared free for adoption.

The proposed adoptive parents reside in Panvel, District Raigad. They are 39 and 37 years old. They have been married for 10 years but have no children of their own. The first Petitioner, the 25th April 2018

905-IAP41-18.DOC father, is a Painter at Mazgaon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd and hass monthly salary is Rs.25,441/-. The adoptive mother is a housewife. 3.

The documents annexed to the Petition are in order, including the home study report, the child care arrangement plan, financial documents, health report and the reports by the social workers.

I have seen the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare which is on record.

Having regard to the father's financial status, I have fixed the investment required at Rs.50,000/-.

Having regard to these circumstances and since I am satisfied that the adoption is manifestly in the interest of minor, I will allow the Petition. The Judge's Order is separately signed. (G. S. PATEL, J) 25th April 2018
