Mr Rakesh Kapoor, for the Petitioner.
Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer, ICSW, is present. CORAM: G.S. PATEL, J DATED:
25th April 2018 PC:- 1.
The Indian Adoption Petition proposes the adoption of a male minor, Mayur, who was born on 8th September 2017. His custody was given the Petitioner institution. Since then has been declared free for adoption.
2.
The proposed adoptive parents reside in Ambernath. They are 45 and 36 years old. They have been married for 12 years but have no children of their own. The first Petitioner, father works as a Junior Foreman with a private company and has a gross monthly 25th April 2018
906-IAP42-18.DOC salary of a little over Rs.30,000/-. The adoptive mother is a housewife.
3.
The documents annexed to the Petition are in order, including the home study report, the child care arrangement plan, financial documents, health report and the reports by the social workers. The medical report of the minor shows a slight hearing issue on the right. Otherwise the milestones are age-appropriate. The adoptive parents have countersigned the report. 4.
I have seen the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare which is on record.
5.
Having regard to the father's financial status, I have fixed the investment required at Rs.50,000/-.
6.
Having regard to these circumstances and since I am satisfied that the adoption is manifestly in the interest of minor, I will allow the Petition. The Judge's Order is separately signed. (G. S. PATEL, J) 25th April 2018
