The Petition proposes the adoption of a female minor, Girija, born on 23rd May 2012. Girija was admitted to Asha Sadan on 3rd August 2012. On 24th August 2012, the birth mother executed a Deed of Surrender before the Child Welfare Committee. That Deed of Surrender Affidavit is tendered today in a sealed envelop. It is opened in my presence. It is taken on record and marked "X1" for identification. The birth mother is a minor herself.

A compilation is tendered by Ms. Mehta today. This contains the birth certificate of the minor. It also has a report dated 25th March 2014 of the Brainstem Electric Response Audiometry (BERA) evaluation. This notes that Girija's responses are within normal limits and that there is no evidence of hearing impairment in either ear. The compilation is taken on record and marked "X2" for identification.

The adoptive parents are Indian nationals who live in Abu Dhabi, UAE. They are about 41 years old. They have been married for approximately 11 years. They already have a minor daughter aged about eight years today. Her name is Emma. The annexures to the Petition have photographs of the adoptive family. 4.

I also have before a scrutiny report signed by Mr. Hareendran, the Scrutiny Officer of ICSW. This is taken on record and marked "X3" for identification. The necessary particulars are noted in this report. I have also independently seen the self-assessment report, the financial documents, the home study report, the undertakings, the child care report and the child study report. The adoptive parents have also noted the minor's medical history and have accepted it. I am also told that both adoptive parents have already visited India twice. They have independently had a medical consultation done. They have no reservations in proceeding with the adoption. The papers annexed to the Petition indicate that the adoptive parents would provide a suitable and secure environment for the minor.

In view of this the Judge's Order is separately signed. 6.

The Petition is allowed in these terms.
