Through this Petition, the Petitioner has impugned the order dated 22.2.2017 passed by the Secretary, S.R.A. Learned Advocate for the Respondent No.1 has submitted that the above Writ Petition is filed without exhausting the remedy of filing an Appeal from the impugned order, before the Grievance Redressal Committee. Learned Advocate for the Petitioner admits that alternate remedy of filing an appeal before the Grievance Redressal Committee is available, however, he submits that since the Petitioner is waiting since long, he has approached this Court without
10. os wp 1865-18.doc pursuing the alternate remedy. In our view, the Petitioner cannot bypass the alternate remedy provided under the Statute, on this ground.

In view thereof, if the Petitioner files an appeal impugning the order dated 22.2.2017 before the Grievance Redressal Committee within a period of four weeks from the date of this order, the Committee shall decide the same within eight weeks thereafter without reference to the issue of limitation, if any.
