The Indian Adoption Petition proposes the adoption of a male minor, Harish, who was born on 21st June 2014. He was found abandoned by the MRA Marg Police Station. He was admitted to the Petitioner institution on 21st February 2017. 2.
He has been declared legally free for adoption. 3.
The proposed adoptive parents reside in Vadavali, District Thane. They are 34 and 33 years old. They have been married for 8 years but have no children of their own.

The 1st Petitioner, the proposed adoptive father, is a Manager-Mechanical with Lodha Developers, Mumbai. His monthly gross salary is over Rs.88,000/-. The adoptive mother is a Homeopathic Doctor and her monthly income is Rs.15,000/-. 5.
The health reports of the parents are clear. The home study report, the child care arrangement reports as also the assessment report of the social workers are in order. The medical examination of the minor says that his is a normal healthy child and the HIV report of the minor is non-reactive.

I have seen the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare which is on record.

Having regard to these circumstances and since I am satisfied that the adoption is manifestly in the interest of minor, I will allow the Petition. The Judge's Order is separately signed. (G. S. PATEL, J) 2nd May 2018
