This Appeal relates to Assessment Year 1997-98. 2.

None appears for the Revenue in support of the appeal. It appears that the Revenue is not interested in prosecuting the present appeal. This possibly for the reason that the tax effect in the present appeal is Rs.7.04 lakhs as indicated in para 11 of the appeal memo, and therefore, within the threshold limited provided under the Circular No.21 of 2015 dated 10th December, 2015 issued by the Central Board for Direct Tax for the purposes of not pressing/withdrawing the appeals. Be that as it may, appeal is dismissed for non-prosecution.
