The Petition was accepted on 17th February 2021 and a proclamation was ordered. It has been issued. There is an Afdavit proving publication of the proclamation. None has come forward. 2.
The Petition is under Section 2 of Bombay Regulation VIII of Shephali Mormare 1827 in respect of one Leela Laxman who died in Mumbai where she by Shephali Mormare Date: 2021.03.16 10:47:05 +0530 was ordinarily resident on 18th February 2020. A copy of her death certifcate is annexed.

Leela is said to have died intestate. Paragraph 4 of the Petition says that the deceased was a widow. She had no children. Her parents died before her. Her husband had also died much earlier. The Petitioner states that the deceased had a sister Radha, but no 15th March 2021
8-MPT-17-2021.DOC other siblings. Radha herself died on 3rd October 2012. The Petitioner is Radha's only child, Sanjeev Kumar Sadanandan. There are no other heirs.

The heirship certifcate is required for transfer of a liquor license from the Excise Department.

There being no opposition to the heirship certifcate petition, and there being no other proceeding for probate, succession certifcate or letters of administration with or without Will annexed, there is no impediment to the grant of relief. 6.
The Petition is made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a). 7.
