P.C. :- This Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeks a direction to the Commissioner of Customs (General) Mumbai to register the Petitioners as the members of the Association under the Customs Brokers Licensing Regulations, 2018 (2018 Regulations).

Mr. Jetly, learned Counsel appearing in support of the Respondent Nos. 1 to 4 on instructions states that the verification process of the members supporting the Petitioners' Association for registration in terms of Regulation 20 of 2018 Regulations is not yet been completed because the Petitioners are not co-operating. 3.

Mr. Sharma, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners on instructions states that the Petitioners would cooperate with the Respondents. This with a view in ensuring a fair decision is taken by the Commissioner of Customs in terms of Regulation 20 of 2018 Regulations.

In the above view, at this stage, no specific order is called for. The Commissioner of Customs is directed to complete the aforesaid process in terms of Regulation 20 of 2018 Regulations within a period of eight weeks from today.
