Heard learned counsel for the applicant / original petitioner. 2.

By this application, the applicant seeks post grant amendment of letters of administration issued on 28.11.2016. It is submitted that after the grant was issued, the applicant became aware of certain further assets lying in the name of the deceased. It is brought to the notice of this Court that an additional affidavit has been placed on record in terms of order dated 16.11.2021 in support of the present application. 3.

This Court has perused the contents of the application and the additional affidavit. Sufficient ground is made out for granting the prayers made in the present application.

Accordingly, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (b). The amendments be carried out in terms of exhibit-B to the present application within two weeks from today. Re-verification is dispensed with. Consequential steps be taken by the Department. 5.

Upon the amended grant being issued, the HDFC Bank shall permit the applicant / petitioner to take appropriate steps for closing the bank account of the deceased.
