Heard the learned counsel for the applicant. The prayer in this Notice of Motion is to condone the delay of 17 days in preferring an appeal. The Notice of Motion is opposed by the learned counsel for the respondent Nos.1 to 4 by submitting that sufficient cause is not made out.

However, after perusing the averments made in clauses (c) and (d) of the affidavit in support, we find that sufficient cause is made out.
