This proposal is on behalf of single mother for adoption of a female child named Vaishnavi. She was born on 4th July 2010. She was found abandoned at the village Raghuchiwadi Taluka and District Osmanabad in the jurisdiction of Osmanabad City Police Station on 17th September 2010, i.e. barely two months after birth. She was thereafter placed to Shishu Sadan, the Petitioner institution, on the very same day. The necessary advertisements

have been issued. The minor is free for adoption. Despite sufficient notice, no one has claimed the minor or accepted responsibility for her.

The proposed adoptive mother is of Spanish origin. She has no children of her own. She lives in Madrid, Spain. She works in the marketing department of a Company known as Becton Dickinson S.A.U., Madrid. She has a high annual income. Her financial documents are in order.

As to the child care arrangement, the adoptive mother has stated that she will take four months' paid leave and she will in addition able to take additional time off as she has a flexible work schedule. There are nursery schools, private and public schools close to her residence. There is also an undertaking by the mother's sister and brother-in-law to provide additional child care assistance. The home study report in favour of the mother is positive. 4.

Mr. Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer, of ICSW has filed scrutiny report dated 18th May 2016 is taken on record and marked "X1" for identification. As noted therein, an updated IQ testing certificate is required. This is tendered by Mr. Kapoor. It is taken on record and marked "X2" for identification. It notes that the minor is of average intelligence. The previous medical examination report of 4th December 2015 notes no abnormalities. Her mental development, behaviour and skills are normal. There are no physical or medical issues that require specialised attention.

In this view of the matter, the Petition is allowed and the Judge's Order is separately signed.
