CORAM : K.R.SHRIRAM, J.
DATE : 12TH OCTOBER 2017 P.C.
This is a petition filed under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The petition was lodged on 20th May 2015. The petitioner had not even applied for ad-interim order. The counsel for petitioner states that they have only invoked arbitration but he is not aware whether petitioner has filed any application under Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
Having considered the petition, I see no reason why the relief as sought should be granted when petitioner did not even apply for ad-interim for more than 2 1⁄2 years from filing of the petition. Petition dismissed. (K.R. SHRIRAM, J.) Shraddha Talekar PS 1/1
